We can say from experience that there’s nothing worse than your fingers freezing while on a winter photo shoot. From a scientific standpoint, exposure to the cold results in constriction of blood flow to the extremities, resulting in rapid temperature loss that approaches ambient temperatures. In layman’s terms, your hands get cold fast. Once you feel that chill, it’s nearly impossible to think about anything else.
Enter gloves. From mittens to liners, we all probably have more pairs of gloves than we know what to do with, but not all pairs

The last few months have been a whirlwind for FUJIFILM's mirrorless division, with the company unveiling a suite of new sensor technologies inside the successors to a line of cameras that not everyone was sure would ever return. While the X-H2 and X-H2S are very exciting cameras and deserving of their flagship status, they aren't necessarily what most people think of when they think of FUJIFILM cameras: that would be the X-T line, and many have been waiting to see what these announcements would mean for the

Over a recent summer weekend, I had the great pleasure of shooting with the OM-D E-M5 Mark III. As far as first impressions go, this camera is a breeze to work with. With an exterior design that is sleek, beautiful, and unpretentious, you can’t go wrong with either the black or silver models—although I lean toward the timeless silver body myself. Upon unboxing, I immediately noticed how much lighter the E-M5 III model is compared to

Over the weekend I channeled my inner influencer to practice vlogging with the Nikon Z30 Mirrorless Camera. Weighing a comfy 350 grams, the Z30’s uniquely light body still feels sturdy and capable of withstanding rugged use. With an ergonomic

There are few things as slow and tedious in the photographic world as threading a head on a tripod or a camera on a tripod head—or turning of any threaded screw, for that matter. The process of threading a camera on a tripod has been mostly eliminated by the invention of the quick-release (QR) dovetail plate. Can this concept and functionality be brought forward into the world of the modern creative? The Manfrotto MOVE Ecosystem has done just that.
The previous sentence had the word “Ecosystem” in it. MOVE is truly a system of accessories and
