Novation is announcing new 4th-generation versions of its popular Lauchkey USB MIDI controllers featuring a complete top-panel redesign, lots of new elements and abilities, and—on the two largest models—updated keys. There are several variations to choose from, including two mini-key models (with your choice of 25 or 37 keys) and four full-size models, available with 25, 37, 49, and 61 keys.
If you’re about to become a bedroom songwriter and/or producer, one of the most useful tools you’ll be using is MIDI technology. With that said, if you’ve ever searched online to find out what MIDIaa is or how it works, you might find yourself overwhelmed by how complicated it seems.
