Nakamichi is releasing an all-new Wireless 12" Subwoofer Expansion for DRAGON Soundbar Systems. This dedicated subwoofer is available solo or as part of a kit—for example, the Nakamichi DRAGON Dolby Atmos Home Surround Sound System with Dual 12" Subwoofers package.
The innovative Nakamichi DRAGON surround sound system replicates that dedicated home theater experience but is much more plug-and-play friendly, eschewing the complicated setup and wiring of a traditional system. While the DRAGON system has been consistently well rated by customers and reviewers alike, Nakamichi has recognized the desire among current DRAGON owners for a larger 12" subwoofer and the ability to connect three or more subwoofers at once.
12" Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Aluminum Driver
The main attraction here is, of course, the 12" driver. This driver is constructed of aerospace-grade aluminum, a lightweight, yet durable material that provides responsiveness and sonic accuracy. To improve the damping, which can be an issue with aluminum cones, Nakamichi's 12" aluminum driver is reinforced with a wafer-thin layer of carbon fiber laminated to the back of the cone. This allows accurate frequency reproduction without unwanted resonance.
12" Carbon Passive Radiator
To further improve low-frequency reproduction and improve overall bass presence, this subwoofer also houses a long-throw 12" passive radiator that uses a carbon-infused cone, chosen for its rigidity and bass precision. This down-firing passive radiator works in tandem with the front-firing active driver to utilize air movement within the cabinet to produce powerful reverberations and increase bass sensations throughout the listening space.
Choose Your Configuration
The DRAGON system supports up four subwoofer cabinets for up to 11.4.6 channels of audio. You can mix and match any combination of the dual-opposing 8" and 12" subwoofers for up to four total. For those new to the DRAGON sound system, you can purchase a surround sound kit, that includes the 58" main speaker unit, two Omni-Motion Reference surround speakers, and either two 8" dual-opposing subwoofers or two of the new 12" subwoofers.

I have a pair of sealed double 12" M&K (Miller and Kriesel MX150 and MX350)subwoofers on either side of my audio/visual setup, one facing downward and the other facing front which I faced towards the wall for maximum more realistic effect. I placed a rug on each so you won't even know powerful subs are part of the system. Had it since the mid-90s.
