First teased at CES 2024, Razer has finally unveiled the Razer Blade 18, now with Thunderbolt™ 5. Improving on the standards of its predecessor, Thunderbolt™ 5 delivers up to 80 Gb/s of bi-directional bandwidth and can reach up to 120 Gb/s with Bandwidth Boost. Thunderbolt™ 5 also doubles the PCIe data throughput for faster storage and external graphics, which is ideal for both creators and gamers alike.
In addition to Thunderbolt™ 5, the Razer Blade 18 also features an impressive 18" 4K 200 Hz IPS display. With a 3840 x 2400 resolution and 400 nits of brightness, this screen allows you to embrace both high-res visuals and smooth gameplay. For those who value a higher refresh rate more than extra pixels, the Razer Blade 18 is also available with an 18" 2560 x 1600 300 Hz Mini-LED display, capable of reaching up to 1,200 nits of brightness. Both Calman-verified displays have 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support and NVIDIA G-SYNC, delivering vibrant colors and reducing screen tearing.
Powering the Razer Blade 18 is the Intel® Core™ i9-14900HX processor. It has a total of 24 cores, which are made up of 8 performance cores and 16 efficient cores. No creative or gaming laptop would be complete without a dedicated GPU. The Razer Blade 18 is available with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, 4080, or 4070 laptop graphics card. With an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU, the Razer Blade 18 can take full advantage of RTX features, such as raytracing and DLSS. Equipped with up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 4TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 solid-state storage, the Razer Blade 18 delivers desktop-grade performance in laptop form.
Whether you’re playing an online multiplayer game or jumping into a video call, staying connected is easy with the Razer Blade 18. Plug in for a reliable wired connection via the 2.5Gb Ethernet RJ45 LAN jack or go wireless with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be). Bluetooth™ 5.4 technology allows you to easily connect compatible accessories and peripherals, such as a wireless mouse. The 5MP IR webcam allows you to sign in with facial recognition via Windows Hello. For added privacy, there is a physical shutter that covers both the camera and the IR sensor.
A powerful CPU and GPU can produce significant heat, so the Razer Blade 18 utilizes a vapor chamber cooling system to keep performance high and temperatures low. Available in an anodized black or mercury finish, the CNC aluminum chassis and a backlit green Razer logo maintain the Razer Blade 18’s sleek yet iconic look. The per-key RGB backlit keyboard can be customized, fitting your lighting aesthetic.
