Tilta has entered the professional tripod foray with the release of three tripod systems. Choose between 3-Stage Carbon Fiber and 2-Stage Carbon Fiber legs with 17.6 or 26.5 lb payloads.
The first cine tripod system consists of a 75mm cine fluid head and 3-stage locking carbon fiber legs. The system has a counterbalanced payload of 2.2 to 17.6 lb thanks to its 6-step dynamic and 8-step standard counterbalance systems. Create smooth movements with the four levels of pan/tilt drag. The tripod legs have a total working height range of 5.1" to 70.8” to cover all angles of shooting. Locking buckles make adjusting the legs along the range intuitive and secure. An Arca-type quick release plate makes for efficient transitions between compatible DJI-standard handheld gimbal and stabilized shooting.
The second cine tripod system features the same 75mm cine fluid head with its intuitive counterbalance and pan/tilt adjustments. Where it differs is with its inclusion of 2-stage carbon fiber tripod legs with a single one-touch fast lock for speedy height adjustment. These legs have the same working height range as its 3-stage counterpart but can be adjusted without locking and unlocking individual stages. This makes this tripod ideal for run-and-gun shooters needing to quickly set up to get the shot.
And finally, for ENG shooters with heftier rigs, there is a third tripod system option with an expanded 26.5 lb payload. The 75mm fluid head on this system can accommodate 2.2 to 26.5 lb payloads with its 10-step dynamic counterbalance and has a Manfrotto-type drop-in plate for quick balancing adjustments. Similar 2-stage one-touch carbon fiber legs come with this system, but these legs can support either 75mm or 100mm fluid heads thanks to a removeable adapter.
