Wrapping transmitter, receiver, and monitor functions into a singular form, Hollyland’s new Pyro 7 Wireless Transceiver Monitor system provides blazingly fast wireless video. And with the ability to transmit to up to four receivers simultaneously, the Pyro 7 system will keep all of your key players on set in the loop.
The Pyro 7 uses Hollyland’s dual-band 2.4/5 GHz tech and automatic frequency-hopping to output a stable signal at a line-of-sight range of 650’ in broadcast mode and an even greater range of up to 1300’ when not in broadcast mode. Use the broadcast mode to transmit to up to four receivers or turn it off to transmit to up to two receivers and two mobile devices for run-and-gun capture.
Imaging tools like waveform, focus, assist, and the ability to apply a LUT to the video output help to ensure image accuracy. It also minimizes latency to less than 60ms thanks an upgraded chipset and optimized video codec algorithms. Additionally, you can choose between Smooth Mode for ultralong transmission and HD Mode for optimal imagery with bitrates of 8-12 Mb/s.
If you’ve already got an existing setup, you’ll be happy to know that the Pyro 7 is compatible with Pyro H and Pyro S series devices. RTMP streaming enables you to stream your video content to popular platforms using a connected wireless network card. Multicamera shooters will appreciate the Pyro 7’s grouping preset function which enables you to switch between two views in just one second.
Also worth mentioning is the inclusion of an SD card slot which enables the versatile Pyro 7 to record up to 40 minutes of .mp4 video. Additionally, its magnesium-alloy housing provides a lightweight yet robust form with improved heat dissipation.
The Pyro 7 system is available as a single transceiver monitor unit , a single transceiver monitor with one Pyro S transmitter and receiver, or as a dual transceiver monitor kit. Handy Pyro 7 accessories include a locking D-Tap power cable, 2.4/5 GHz antenna, monitor hood, shoulder strap, an aluminum handle for vertical mode, and dual rosewood handles. You can also use the Gold or V-mount plates with your choice of pro batteries to power the Pyro 7.

I would use this for virtual production. In fact, I would love to see BH share a presentation using it with VP. Thank you.
