Blackmagic Design once again leads the pack in providing innovative post-production technology with the release of its latest versions of the Ultimatte 12 compositing processors.
Designed to work with the latest generation of broadcast graphics, this new Ultimatte 12 series features one-touch keying, real-time compositing, and a completely new color science and algorithms that deliver improved spill suppression, extraordinary color fidelity, and better color separation.
Offering the Ultimatte 12 8K, 4K, 12 HD, and 12 HD Mini versions, these new chroma keyers are available to fit almost any video production style or budget. The affordability of the Ultimatte 12 series lets you add a keyer for each camera, eliminating any slight variations between your green screen and different camera positions.
Ultimatte 12 keyers offer a host of video connections for compositing multiple sources, and include foreground, background, holdout, and garbage mattes, and additional image layers. Select models enable you to future-proof your productions with 12G-SDI links that will support up to 8K video formats. When working with multiple cameras/sources, a cascading function on all models lets you view up to eight Ultimatte monitor outputs using a single SDI display.
Frame stores enable you to layer foreground objects and to use pre-rendered virtual set still frames as still backgrounds with each of the Ultimatte 12 models.
Learn more about these four new keyers on this B&H Ultimatte 12 page and check out the optional Ultimatte Smart Remote 4, as well, for easy touchscreen control of up to eight Ultimatte 12 units.
