Output and Control
The versatile X4 Ultra supports numerous output options, including the high-quality, low-latency NDI|HX3 streaming codec, and it also supports RTSP/RTMP/SRT streaming via Gigabit Ethernet. It also features USB-C/UVC, 3G-SDI, and HDMI outputs for local setups. You can control the camera via IP as well as via RS-232 with a separate controller, allowing endless control options.
Wi-Fi, Battery, and Tally Features
Can’t get a cable run in hard-to-reach locations? The X4 Ultra is designed with built-in Wi-Fi 6 technology to provide high-bandwidth wireless connectivity. There’s also an optional Wi-Fi 6 Receiver base station that supports up to four cameras to ensure a reliable transition to an Ethernet network. The camera also features a built-in battery that can be charged via USB-C that lasts up to four hours, for a truly wireless PTZ camera experience. The camera also features a daylight-visible, ultra-bright halo tally around the lens so you can see it from long distances.
Solid BirdDog Design
AI automation is now industry standard, and BirdDog steps up the X4 Ultra’s AI capabilities to make setting up and controlling the tracking movements easy. The camera also features BirdDog’s slick e-ink labeling on the side of the camera, allowing you to identify the camera and add custom logos even when the camera is not powered on. It supports up to UHD 4K resolution video and has a 20x zoom to reach far corners, and if you need to connect the camera via Ethernet, it also supports PoE for single-cable operation.
