Internal antennas are optimized for maximum reception sensitivity for wide band compatibility. The Portable Data Transmitter can communicate via 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, LTE, and 5G cellular in both sub-6 and mmWave bands. This increases the communication coverage area by up to 10% with 30% faster communication speeds. It also supports dual SIM, which transmits data while automatically switching to the stronger network choice.

Wired inputs—USB-C, LAN, and HDMI—offer additional connectivity to facilitate data transfers from compatible camera models. In tandem with Camera Wired Communication mode, you can automatically deliver files to a C3 Portal, a Ci Media Cloud, or a designated FTP server. Connect a separately available CBK-RPU7 Remote Production Unit and M2 Live Cloud Switcher to live stream directly from the unit via HDMI or USB-C. A large 6.1” display provides a Network Visualizer to monitor transfer status, among other parameters.  The transmitter is equipped with 256GB of internal storage with the option to insert a 1TB microSD card for onboard recording.

Integrating the Portable Data Transmitter into your camera configuration is a breeze thanks to its ¼”-20 mounting thread and strap holes for cable management. Secure the unit to your camera rig via articulating arm and keep track of your signal status.

An integrated battery keeps the unit running for up to 2 hours when live streaming via LTE and recharges via USB-C in under 2 hours. You can even charge the unit while simultaneously transmitting data since both USB-C ports support PD. A cooling fan and built-in duct structure improve heat dissipation for quiet operation without the risk of overheating.
