Content creators looking to affordably expand their lens kits will be pleased with the latest glass selections from 7artisans. These new lenses include the Spectrum 120mm T2.9 2x Macro for full-frame shooters and the 35mm f/1.4 in APS-C format.
Designed for cine-style capture, the Spectrum 120mm Macro lets you add captivating close-up shots to your narrative or documentary-style footage. Available in Canon RF, Leica L, Nikon Z, and Sony E mounts, this full-frame lens provides detailed views with up to 2x magnification at minimum focus distances down to 11.8". Its 13-blade aperture and relatively fast T2.9 maximum aperture help you create sharp, shallow depth-of-field looks with pleasingly round bokeh effects. On-the-go the creators will appreciate the Spectrum 120mm macro's rugged, splash- and dust-proof aluminum build and assistants will like the wide 270˚ barrel for executing precise focus pulls. This cine-style lens also features a front 82mm thread that lets you use a filter without having to add the weight of a matte box.
The APS-C format AF35mm f/1.4 FX lens also provides lovely bokeh effects but in a lightweight, compact form with fast autofocus that is suitable for street photography and event shooters. Its 52.5mm equivalence in the 35mm format provides a view similar to the human gaze, making it especially suitable for portrait capture. Available in Fujinon X, Nikon Z, and Sony E mounts, the AF35 FX lens weighs a scant 6.7 oz and has a 62mm filter thread.
