For the night photographer, having the right gear can be crucial to a successful photographic outing after dark. When it comes to night photography, there is a list of essential tools that you really cannot live without. Smartphone photography is getting better and better each year. It’s now possible to create usable images in near pitch black and capture stunning photos of the night sky. I would advise you not to do that, at least not all the time. Dedicated smartphone photographers know this and go hunting for the best possible light for their photographs.
