Lenovo Announces Pro 9n Multi-Touch Laptop Featuring NVIDIA RTX Spark

Lenovo is excited to announce its latest laptop, the Pro 9n! Packed with the latest NVIDIA technology, the Pro 9n brings forth a new age of creativity, gaming performance, and AI development, giving users the opportunity to bring their imagination to life and have a little play with their work.

At the heart of the Pro 9n is NVIDIA’s unique RTX Spark Superchip technology. Powered by the N1X processor, the Pro 9n gains a huge uplift in both pure computational power and graphical throughput. This allows users to edit photos and videos, work on large AI-backed projects, dive into multiple programming language models, and even play a handful of your favorite games!

The NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X combines both the CPU and the GPU into a singular module that provides greater power to handle a litany of tasks with ease. Two different models will be available at launch, with your choice of either an 18- or 20-core CPU with a max operating frequency of 3.9 or 4.0 GHz, respectively. On the GPU side, we have a 5120-core GPU that comes on the 18-core model, and the 6144-core GPU on the 20-core CPU. Both graphical engines operate on Blackwell RTX technology, providing great uplift in a convenient and speedy design.

Two models of the Pro 9n are available with one model offering the NVIDIA N1X Pro 650 processor, 32GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD. But, if you want some more power to run resource-demanding applications or smooth out your video editing process, there is a second model that includes the NVIDIA N1X Pro 675 processor, 64GB of memory, and a 2TB SSD. The base model is ideal for those who are performing basic and advanced functions, but the second model is great for those who want a zero-compromises device that can handle applications like CAD, on-device AI models, and more.

When it comes to both work and play, you’ll want nice, crisp visuals, which are provided by the beautiful 15.3” OLED panel! It sports a 2560 x 1600 resolution, which makes your visuals truly pop with enhanced vibrancy, enabling you to get down to the fine details when editing and witness sleek and smooth gameplay thanks to the 165 Hz refresh rate! The display also offers a peak 1100 nits brightness for HDR enabled content and 500 nits in SDR mode, expanding the color range to ensure accuracy and precision, essential for graphic designers and editors alike. Also, the screen is touch-compatible, offering multiple touch points and even includes support for the included Yoga Pen 2!

When it comes to connectivity, the Pro 9n offers a wide range of ports so you can expand its utility or even use your favorite peripherals. Wireless connectivity is provided by integrated Bluetooth 5.4 technology, allowing you to use wireless peripherals like mice, keyboards, headphones, and more! If you’re a fan of physical ports for your wired devices or thumb drives, you’ll be happy to know that the Pro 9n has two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports as well as dual USB-C USB4 ports. The USB-A ports are there for your standard devices, while the USB-C ports are great for connecting more resource-demanding devices like external monitors and docking stations. A single HDMI 2.1 port is also available, providing you with external display support that can handle up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the Pro 9n includes a UHS-II SD card reader, so you can transfer media from your camera to the Pro 9n with ease. A singular 3.5mm combo headphone/mic jack is available for those who prefer wired headsets. Finally, the Pro 9n includes Wi-Fi 7 wireless networking, allowing you to quickly download and upload files and documents.

Whether you are a business-oriented individual who is constantly on conference calls or someone who makes the occasional online call to friends and family, you’ll be glad to know that there is an integrated webcam with a 9.2MP resolution, as well as a triple-mic array. Together, this gives everyone clean visuals and audio. The webcam does include a privacy E-shutter, giving you peace of mind when not in use.
