Experience lightning speeds with the Crucial T700 PCIe 5.0 M.2 Internal SSD. With a PCIe Gen 5.0 x4 interface and Micron’s innovative 232-layer TLC NAND, the T700 can offer sequential read speeds of up to 12,400 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 11,800 MB/s. That’s nearly twice as fast as the previous-generation Crucial PCIe 4.0 SSD. The T700 can handle high-performance gaming, photo or video editing, and heavy workstation use.
With Microsoft DirectStorage support, the T700 allows compatible games to render high-res textures up to 60% faster, as well as load assets quickly. DirectStorage also supports GPU decompression, which offloads the work needed for decompressing game assets to the graphics card instead of the processor. This can result in up to 99% less CPU utilization.
Crucial implemented an aluminum and nickel-plated copper heatsink. The passive heatsink was custom designed to maximize performance and minimize throttling. Passive cooling dissipates the heat without the problems that active heatsinks on other SSDs may face, such as the noise from integrated fans or the failure risk of liquid cooling.
The T700 is available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB storage capacities. You’ll also be able to purchase the T700 with or without a heatsink. Please note that the non-heatsink variant of the T700 must be installed in a motherboard or with an alternate heatsink for optimal performance.
Looking to add to your computer build? Crucial also offers DDR4 and DDR5 Pro RAM kits. Pair a Pro RAM kit with the T700 and experience enhanced render speeds and multitasking capabilities. These 288-pin memory modules allow you to take full advantage of a dual-channel memory setup.
