ASUS Debuts ProArt Display PA32KCX 8K Display

With the debut of the 32” ProArt Display PA32KCX at NAB 2024, ASUS is making it easier for professionals to edit 8K raw content at its native resolution. Shooting in 8K benefits content creators, particularly with XR and virtual productions, with high-resolution footage that has minimal quality loss when converted to 4K in post.

In addition to supporting a 7680 x 4320 resolution, this 4096-zone mini LED display delivers exceptional Delta E<1 true 10-bit color accuracy with 97% DCI-P3 coverage. You can use built-in motorized flip colorimeter to ensure color accuracy and adapt to different projects with both activated and scheduled auto calibrations. Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS professional hardware calibration software is also supported.

Featuring 1200 nits peak brightness in HDR mode with 1000 nit sustained brightness, the ProArt Display PA32KCX display is designed to provide realistically bright highlights. Support for formats such as HDR10 and HLG allow you to tailor your content for different broadcast regions.

The 32” ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX display will include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1inputs. Additionally, it will have dual Thunderbolt 4 with 96W power delivery and a dedicated USB hub, which lets you set up a streamlined workstation. This display also features LuxPixel Technology, a suite of features that include Anti-Glare, Low-Reflection (AGLR) technology and Eye Care+ to help reduce eyestrain.

For content creators that prefer 4K OLED displays, ASUS showcased the 31.5” ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM monitor, which is factory calibrated to deliver 99% DCI-P3 coverage with Delta E<1 accuracy. It also features 1000 nits of peak brightness and true 10-bit color, supporting multiple HDR metadata formats such as HDR10 and HLG. It is compatible with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS professional hardware calibration software.
