Gaming enthusiasts and content creators rejoice as AMD launched its Ryzen 9 9900X3D and 9950X3D processors! Leveraging AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology, you can take advantage of an enhanced on-chip memory bus designed to speed performance across the board.
Both processors are built on AMD’s Zen 5 architecture design and TSMC 4nm process, giving the 9900X3D and the 9950X3D enhanced performance backed by 128MB L3 cache. They also unlocked for overclocking, giving advanced users even greater performance above the standard speeds for general CPU processing as well as memory overclocking with AMD EXPO technology. Additionally, both models support Precision Boost Overdrive, Curve Optimizer Voltage Offsets, and AMD Ryzen Master Support.
When it comes to operation speeds, the 9900X3D offers a base clock speed of 4.4 GHz and reaches a maximum speed up to 5.5 GHz across 12 cores and 24 threads with a default TDP of 120-watts. Meanwhile, the 9950X3D features a base clock of 4.3 GHz and a maximum 5.7 GHz boost speed across 12 cores and 32 threads with a 170W default TDP.
Connectivity wise, you get support for PCIe 5.0, which can handle the latest range of graphics cards. It also unlocks expansive IO options, giving you support for various USB ports, DDR5 memory, NVMe storage, as well as integrated graphics support.
