I’m so happy I stumbled upon this video. I was looking to purchase a polarizing filter, but when you said it’s not necessary to photograph those window shots with one,, I’ll just go without.

In some instances, John B., a polarizing filter will definitely give you an edge when shooting through reflective surfaces. Sometimes you can acquire a clean image without one, sometimes if the light and reflections are brighter, a polarizer can make all the difference.
