At CES 2019, Canon proved that it can integrate more than just cameras and camcorders into the smart home. The PIXMA TS702 wireless photo printer features both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for network printing, plus AirPrint, which allows you to print directly from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. It can print photos and documents ranging in sizes from 3.5 x 3.5" to 8.5 x 14", supports borderless printing up to 8.5 x 11", and has automatic two-sided duplex printing. You can also scan and print documents with your compatible iOS or Android device using the Canon Print Inkjet/SELPHY app. On the other side of the home office spectrum is the new Rayo S1 projector, which features a built-in 2-hour battery that charges via USB and a palm-sized design, making it easy to carry around for on-the-go presentations or movie watching. Integrated Wi-Fi lets you mirror your smartphone, and the onboard Android OS and 4GB of storage let you download a variety of well-known apps. The top-mounted touchpad and familiar Android Home, App, and Back buttons help you navigate the OS. Additionally, the Canon Camera Connect app is built-in, so you can show photos and videos directly from a supported device. Top of Form

Sony displayed amazingly polished videos and products here at CES 2019. The company truly does have a hand in everything, making it possible to go from capture to delivery all on Sony equipment. Sony wants to give creatives the power to develop awesome experiences. The showcase this year backs this up by presenting a wide range of tools to help creators produce work at the highest possible level. Joining Sony’s television line are the Z9G, in 98 and 85 ", which is its first 8K LCD TV, and uses the X1 Ultimate processor with 8K X-Reality PRO to support up-conversions of media to 8K. While size can matter, those looking for the best in picture quality will turn to Sony’s latest OLED series, the A9G. These 4K models are half as thick as their predecessors and run the X1 Ultimate with Pixel Contrast Booster to ensure maximum image quality, plus Acoustic Surface Audio+, Center Speaker Mode, Netflix Calibrated Mode, IMAX Enhanced certification, and AirPlay 2 and HomeKit integration. 360 Reality Audio is Sony’s “Future of Music” and the GTK-PG10 speaker with built-in cup holders should really help to get your next party going. Stay tuned if you want to learn more about products Sony has in its future.
