Designed with the arthouse filmmaker in mind, DZOFilm’s limited-edition VESPID Retro 7-Lens Kit with Hard Case features seven PL-mount lenses of varying focal lengths, with silver detailing, for a complete system suited for full-frame cinema cameras. The kit embraces the “retro” look while executing modern imagery.
Sharing some of the mechanical characteristics as the VESPID Primes, such as uniform positioning of the focus and iris rings and 270° focus rotation, the VESPID Retro lenses boast familiar form factor and performance. Included in the set are 16mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 125mm focal-length lenses to cover fields of view from wide-angle to telephoto. 16 iris blades ensure round, circular bokeh.
The lenses’ outward appearance aligns with that “retro” look, with rounded elements and rectangular lettering for the lens markings. A golden coating on each lens emphasizes tones and colors for a more artistic image, making it easy to achieve dreamlike shots or high-resolution details with a single kit.
