CES 2019: Ultra-Wide Venus Optics DL-Mount Laowa 9mm Prime for DJI Inspire 2

0Share

Featured here at CES 2019, Venus Optics' Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D Prime Lens has been expressly designed with a DL mount for the DJI Inspire 2 Quadcopter. Weighing less than 8 ounces, this lightweight 9mm lens features an impressively wide 113˚ angle of view, minimal distortion, and a fast 2.8 maximum aperture.

Covering APS-C Super 35 sensors and offering a 13.5mm 35mm equivalent focal length, the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 DL makes a sweet addition to your Inspire 2 for wide-angle landscape or architectural views, or for flyover establishing shots in creative projects.

Inside the lens, three extra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements combine to limit both chromatic and spherical aberrations, producing sharp, clear images with reduced color fringing.

Another notable Laowa 9mm f/2.8 DL feature is the close 4.7" minimum focus, which enables you to get up close and personal when you want to create shallow-depth-of-field looks. To optimize your image capture, screw a 49mm aerial-photography-friendly filter such as an ND or a polarizer into the front of the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 DL.

See what the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 DL can do on a DJI Inspire 2 at CES 2019 and stay up to date with the latest hit products with B&H's coverage of CES 2019.
